At CONCO, our people are our most important asset. Being a leading developer in high voltage infrastructure solutions across Africa, we employ a wide complement of civil and electrical engineering (heavy current) professionals in the following fields across our five main areas of business, being Substations, Overhead Lines, Renewable Energy, Protection and Automation, and Operations and Maintenance of wind and solar projects:

CONCO – whose holding company is JSE-listed Consolidated Infrastructure Group Ltd – has offices in Gauteng and Cape Town, as well as in Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland, Ghana, Zambia, DRC, Mozambique, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya and Saudi Arabia, with new offices opening in South Sudan, Ethiopia, Angola and the UAE.

Training and In-house Mentorship Programmes

CONCO conducts extensive training of employees. Our fully-fledged Training & Development Department ensures that every member of CONCO staff is suitably trained to fulfil their core activities and to master their function in the project life-cycle. In addition, all employees undergo key competency assessments to streamline and optimise their career pathing. For CONCO, training is an investment – which is why the company has a strong belief in in-house mentorship programmes and the use of outside training organisations. A number of trainee engineers and site supervisors participate in this programme at any one time. We are also particularly proud of our organisation’s comprehensive HIV/Aids programme, comprising voluntary testing, anti-retroviral therapy (ART), HIV/Aids counselling and relevant training – entirely free of charge to employees.
